Name- Lauran Barthauer
School- Homeschooled
Grade- 9th
Age- 14
What I hope to gain from this trip- I hope to share the love of God with the children there, and hopefully have the chance to introduce God’s free gift of Salvation with them! I know my eyes will be opened to see others and I also know that this trip will help me grow in my faith and get stronger in my trust in God!
Testimony- I accepted Christ into my heart at the age of six. During a Sparkies lesson. Since then I’ve been getting closer to God each day and I know that He is always with me!
Favorite Bible Verse- Isaiah 41:10- fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Hobbies- Music, Acting, Art, I really enjoy playing sports like soccer, swimming, bowling, and track. I like 4-H and showing animals at fair (rabbits & goats.)

What I hope to gain from this trip- I hope to grow deeper in my relationship with God by sharing the gospel with the kids in Hungary. I can’t wait to show them how much God loves them!
Testimony- I was saved at 8 years old one night after AWANA alone in my room.
Favorite Bible Verse- Psalm 139:7-10
Hobbies- Reading books, horseback riding, & the cello

Grade: Sophomore
What I want to gain from this trip: I want to see how God is going to use me on this trip, I want to see how God is going to work on this trip, and I want to know God better after this trip.
Testimony: I became a Christian when I was five or six years old and I got baptized when I was twelve, over the years I have been learning to follow and to know His voice.
Favorite Bible verse: I don't have a favorite Bible verse yet, but I tend to like the up lifting verses.
Hobbies: I like to bowl and I like sing and watch movies, and I like to hanging out with my friends

What I hope to gain from this trip: is to grow closer to God.
Testimony: Jesus saved me when I was 4 and do not remember much after that

What I hope to gain from this trip:
I am looking forward forward to this trip because I want to spread God's love to the world. When I get to Hungary, I want people to see me as a person they can talk to be really heard. I want to be the best example I can be and a wonderful example of a Christian to the people in Hungary.
Testimony:
I made the decision to give my life to Jesus in the middle of WalMart. I prayed and offered my heart to Him at home, though! I love living my life to be a positive influence.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope."
Hobbies: Bowling, Choir, Journalism class, and other extracurricular activities

What I hope to gain from this trip: I am actually not going on the trip, I am a part of Mission Control!
Testimony: I was saved after church, when I was 3 years old, and was baptized last spring.

What I hope to gain from this trip:
I hope that I can continue to build relationships with people in Hungary, but most of all I want to help kids see what God has done in my life and maybe even accept Him.
Testimony: I was saved at about 5 years old at my cousin Brad's baseball game.
Favorite Bible verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope."
Hobbies: Basketball and watching sports

What I hope to gain from this trip: To grow stronger as a Christian and to see how the Lord uses me.
Testimony:
I put my trust in Christ at the age of 7. I was at youth group and the man that was giving the talk that night asked if anyone wanted to give their life to Christ, and I gave my life to Christ that night. And since that, I have seen the Lord work in my life. :)
